This will be the last post on this blog before switching over to the new blog. The new blog will have more of an article format focusing on photography, design, music and art in general. Back from the dead

This is long overdue, but i’ve been insanely busy ( in a great way ) with art work and shows and just making new and fun stuff. Its awesome.

#1 First of all: I’m happy to be part of the “SOMEBODY GONNA GET PREGNANT” art show for NINJASONIK in New York for the month of June. Curated by Nick Chatfield-Taylor from ARTICLE. The opening is on June 3rd and it runs until the 25th.I designed and drew one of the album cover artworks to be displayed. Way more info on the ARTICLE WEBSITE. http://www.articlemethod.com/log.html

#2 DIET COLLECTIVE: “Diet came out of the idea to create an outlet, for something that would serve as a good and varied visual diet.” and thats what exactly it is. I’m happy to be a part of Diet Collective put together by VENT FURY out of London. So many other great photographers on the team that you just have to go see THE FIRST ISSUE. I’ve slowed down on updating the blog because of the preparation of my official site (www.alanicruz.com) that is going to launch soon. Really excited about it and learned a lot about web design, which i was pretty poor at before, because of it. The site only has my blog visible, but soon I’ll make the galleries visible for everyone to check out. Bookmark it for now because it’ll soon be my main outlet for my work.

And to everyone around the world that has ordered my first zine “I’d rather be making art right now” thank you. I still have more left, so shoot me an email if you’d like one.
